The Firelight Festival is back in Docklands, and to celebrate, Kindred Cameras is running a free photowalk during the event!
The walk will be casual and fun, and will give you the opportunity to wander around the festival with us and learn a bit about photography. We’ll give you some tips on capturing images in dark, fast moving and high contrast environments, and help you capture some amazing images and footage of the event.
A loose plan for the evening:
6:15pm: Meet at Kindred Cameras
6:30pm: Liquid Sky by Genius Laser Technology
6:45pm: LED Circus Playspace with Hoop Sparx
7:00pm: Fire Sculpture
7:30pm: Fire Performers: Cirque Mystique
7:45pm: FireLily Dance presents Luminosity
This photowalk is suitable for people of all photographic skillsets.
What to Bring
A camera - either a smartphone or a dedicated system
If using your smartphone, we recommend installing the Adobe Lightroom app for more advanced camera controls
Spare batteries and SD cards
Water and walking shoes
